Who We Are - Botanical Weddings
Botanical Weddings began as Löv Leaf Weddings, named after our beloved Löv Leaf plant shop in Hereford – a little green sanctuary where our plants are loved, nurtured, and prepped for their big day appearances.
Löv Leaf was born during the height of lockdown, when Steph discovered first-hand how plants can calm the mind, lift the spirit, and fill a space with joy. That feeling became the seed of something bigger – and we started by hosting creative workshops in the shop, giving people a way to connect with nature and unwind.
From there, we grew (yes, pun absolutely intended!) into offering plant styling for businesses and workspaces – and eventually found our greatest joy in transforming weddings. We realised just how magical plants could be on someone’s most important day – not just as décor, but as living, breathing energy in the room.

Meet Steph, Our Founder
Hi, I’m Steph (she/her), 🌿
I’m a lifelong plant lover, wedding enthusiast and the hands (and heart!) behind Botanical Weddings and Löv Leaf.
Since opening our doors in 2021, I’ve poured everything into growing what Botanical Weddings is today. A business that’s rooted in sustainability, creativity, and connection.
I feel incredibly lucky to do what I do,
and to work with such wonderful people
along the way.
When I’m not surrounded by plants, you’ll probably find me at a local coffee shop, laptop in hand, soaking up the buzz of life in the background.
I’m a total workaholic, but I also love to explore new places, meet people from different cultures, and keep learning new ways to be inspired and to care for our planet.
And no matter what kind of day I’m having, I always try to share a little kindness – because sometimes, a warm smile is all it takes to make someone’s day better.
Meet The Rest Of The Team
Georgina (she/her)
Creative, caring, and always ready with a smile, Georgina brings a calm and colourful presence to the Botanical Weddings team. After starting out at Löv Leaf and completing a teaching degree, she’s come full circle to combine her love of nature, people, and design in this leafy paradise.
Her favourite plant is the African Violet – she loves its delicate, velvety petals and the pop of colour it brings to any windowsill.
Georgina’s favourite part of working here is being surrounded by beautiful greenery and helping couples bring their wedding visions to life.
Outside of work, you’ll likely find her painting, hula hooping, enjoying music, or keeping up with her lively four- year-old.
And here’s a fun fact – she once appeared on Bargain Hunt!
Alex (he/him)
Alex is the one making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes – from planning travel routes for our
wedding set-ups to keeping our team safe (and plants secure!) every step of the way.
He’s our go-to for all things logistics and health & safety, and we honestly don’t know what we’d do without his calm head and knack for problem-solving.
Alex’s favourite plant? The mighty Kentia Palm – he loves how big and bold they are, and how they remind him of tropical getaways.
When he’s not loading vans or keeping us all on track, you’ll most likely find him on the golf course, planning his next ski trip, or dreaming of his next travel adventure.
